Storytelling is the north star of my VO career; but stories need writers and the need audiences. My aim is to tell your story to the best of my ability, hold your audience’s attention, and make the whole process as quick, easy, and collaborative as possible. Audiences tend to trust familiar voices, and that means building RELATIONSHIPS over long lists of one-shots.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with, or provide voiceover for, Edward Jones, the US National Constitution Center, ClickView, Fotivda/AVEO Oncology, Dragoncon TV, Rheem Raypack, and Renegade Games Studios (as the voice of Duke for the G.I. Joe/Heroscape Board Game story arc announcement).
VOICE PROFILE. My voice and demeanor have been described as intelligent, articulate, and warm, with an approachable confidence and textured gravitas. A great voice actor to have for action/adventure reads. Clients cast me when they are looking for Conversational, Sincere, Animated, Cinematic, Empathetic, Engaging, Dynamic style reads. I’m comfortable with authoritative corporate reads, as well as the reassuring dad-next-door or the troubled 90’s antihero.
BEYOND MY NORMAL, SPEAKING VOICE. I can comfortably voice roles ranging from early 30s through senior, and have booked reads ranging from 18-35 to 55+. As far as accents/dialects; I was born and raised in NYC and Long Island and have spent my whole adult life in/around Charlotte, North Carolina. My natural voice is a neutral, Midatlantic, or General American accent, but I’m comfortable with a regional New York/Tri-State or Southern US accent as well. My Early American/colonial, Transatlantic accent can be found in the US National Constitution Center.

Faculty Teaching Assistant as both Graduate and Undergraduate, for Philosophy and Art History. 15+ years Restaurant, Sales, and Hospitality. 10 years corporate IT Asset Management for United Rentals; audit, policy writing, and communicating with VPs and Legal, as well as Sales Managers and Field Service Techs.
OUTSIDE THE BOOTH you can often find me hosting Nerd Nite Charlotte. Nerd Nite is a monthly event occurring in over 100 cities around the world. The "bosses" book three presenters to speak on anything from astrophysics to kaiju zoology, art and history to Dungeons and Dragons. It's like a college lecture, but the students are the general public and they're encouraged to drink in class.
